Serving Those Who Serve: Wounded Warrior Receives Morgage-Free Smart Home from Tunnels to Towers!

Over the past 5 months, TK-Architecture had the pleasure of working alongside the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which included a humbling experience in welcoming home U.S. Air Force veteran Senior Master Sgt. Israel Del Toro Jr. and his family into his new mortgage-free custom smart home in Peyton, Colorado last week.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation reached out to TK-Architecture, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business, to assist with being the local eyes and ears on the project. TK-Architecture had the privilege of watching this project come to life from the ground up during weekly observations and reporting services for the Tunnel to Towers Foundations. We were thrilled and eager to offer our support, as it is within our essence to serve those who have served. It was a pleasure playing a small role in this project and there could not be a man more deserving than Senior Master Sgt. Israel Del Toro Jr.

In attendance at the dedication on October 19th, the ceremony involved Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Israel Del Toro Jr. and his family, Tunnel to Towers Board Member and ret. FDNY Battalion Commander Jack Oehm, and Tunnel to Towers national and local sponsors and partners and many more members of the community. The dedication followed the procession of Patriot Guard Riders and local first responders who escorted the Del Toro family to their new home, build by Gold Rush Construction out of Black Forest, Colorado.
